Linkble is a social platform that connects people through local activities and events. Given the nature of our service, we collect certain information to enable you to discover nearby events, connect with other users, and coordinate meetups.

5. Location Data

Important: Linkble requires location access to function properly. We use your location to:

Show events within your selected radius (default 10km)
Display your events to nearby users
Calculate distances to event locations

You can adjust your search radius in the app settings. Your precise location is never shared with other users - only the event locations you create are visible.

6. Third-Party Services

We integrate with third-party services to provide our functionality:

Mapping Services

We use Google Maps to display event locations and enable location search
Your location queries are processed by Google Maps API
Google's Privacy Policy applies to this data processing

Authentication and Database

We use secure cloud infrastructure to store your account data and messages
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest

Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications

10. Data Retention

Account information: Until you delete your account
Event data: Events are removed from public view 24 hours after they end; data retained for 90 days for safety purposes
Chat messages: Event chats are archived 24 hours after event ends; direct messages retained until deleted by user
Analytics data: 90 days in anonymized form
Reports: Retained for 1 year for safety and legal purposes

When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active databases within 30 days. Some information may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 30 additional days.

11. Tracking Technologies

We use minimal tracking technologies:

Essential storage: Required for app functionality and user authentication
Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics to improve user experience
Performance monitoring: Crash reports and performance metrics

We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

12. Age Requirements
